Our Story

Healthy Prickly Concepts Inc., was created with the intention of developing a line of food products to alleviate the increasing food intolerances and health issues that a lot of our friends and clients were having. Frank and Adriana are two passionate individuals that care about wellness and nutrition and how food greatly impacts your daily life. With this passion, they ventured into developing a set of healthy, vegan, gluten-free, high-fibre, low-carbohydrates and peanut-free products,

These products aim at changing the way in which consumers perceive carbohydrates by raising awareness of the benefits of these food products in a healthy lifestyle. These products are completely different from any gluten-free, vegan product currently sold Worldwide.

The final products have naturally occurring high-fibre content and might have the propensity to affect blood sugar in a positive way.

The two main ingredients that are used in the food processing are known in their own right to facilitate the above-mentioned results. The main ingredient, fresh cactus is known to have a rich composition of polyphenols, vitamins, polyunsaturated fatty acids and amino acids and the following properties: anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, hypoglycemic, antimicrobial and neuroprotective.

The flour used is a non-grain base that has a high-fiber content thus making the product gluten-free and vegan friendly. The combination of these ingredients results into healthy products with a very low-carbohydrate content and awesome healthy benefits. We manufacture in our own facility, which is peanut free, gluten-free, meat-free and dairy-free .
